Not so much science fiction or fantasy this week. The only genre show I am watching that is on this week is Futurama as I am not following Persons Unknown, the other (maybe) genre show on.
At least I have some non genre shows to entertain me. I don’t really know why i like The Good Guys so much it is kind of silly and juvenile but really entertaining. Another guilty pleasure is Pretty Little Liars it has a murder mystery pretty much like Veronica Mars (loved that show) at it’s core. Edit: Pretty Little Liars got upgraded with 12 more episodes this season according to spoilertv.com.
I enjoyed both new shows from last week, Memphis Beat (TNT) and Rookie Blue (ABC). Memphis Beat is a good natured cop show with a lot of soul. Rookie Blue is a Grey’s Anatomy kind of police show where the attendants have been replaced with rookies fresh out of the Police Academy.

I never came around to watching Persons Unknown. The concept doesn’t interest me but I hear lots of praise for it.
Lie to Me (Fox) React to contact. Lightman and the team use cutting-edge science and virtual-reality technology to save the life of an Iraq war veteran and his family. In doing so, Lightman confronts unsettling truths about his own past.
The Good Guys (Fox) 1.05 – $3.52. When Dan’s interrogation methods are deemed unlawful in court, a drug smuggler whom Jack and Dan busted months ago is set free. Despite the absence of department resources, an unfettered Dan vows to bring down the entire smuggling ring using only the money in his pocket.

Memphis Beat (TNT) 1.02 – Baby, let’s play house. I liked the first episode; it got a good vibe going for it.
Pretty Little Liars (ABC) 1.04 – Can you hear me now? Tired of being harassed by “A,” the girls decide to put a stop to the anonymous emails and text messages by blocking all unknown users. But even with the mysterious ghost no longer looming over their heads, the girls’ problems are far from over. With a surprise visit by a father, a surprise gift from a prospective paramour, getting some unwanted advice and an undeserved scholarly accolade, the girls’ lives continue to get more complicated by the day. And after dealing with all of that, did the Pretty Little Liars really think they could keep “A” away forever?
Hawthorne (TNT) 2.02 – The Starting Line.
Thursday July 1
Futurama (Comedy Central) 6.03 – Attack of the killer app. I love the new season. Fry posts an embarrassing video of Leela online.
Burn Notice (USA) 4.05 – Neighborhood Watch. A reluctant doctor turns to Michael for help when a group of vicious drug dealers terrorize his neighborhood clinic. Along the way, Michael is drawn into a dangerous game of cat and mouse with a sadistic killer.
Royal Pains (USA) 2.05 – Mano a mano. Hank works desperately to save Boris when his health quickly fails as a result of Marisa’s treatment. Meanwhile, Divya continues to clash with Dr. Peck over the way she practices medicine.
Rookie Blue (ABC) 1.02 – Mercury Retrograde. As the other rookies attempt to hunt down a violent escaped convict, Andy gets a lesson in the dangers of undercover work when she and her training officer, Detective Sam Swarek, search for a missing informant whose cover has been blown. Swarek’s rogue tactics on the job aren’t all that Andy finds troubling — there’s also a surprising, undeniable attraction between the two of them.
