… escapes from his treacherous captors (Kif) on a space station (which has never seen a human before) and is taken in by the catlike Hani. Tree books later he is still in the thick of it and the whole balance of powers in that region of space is in shambles and everything is far from resolved. I Just finished The Chanur Saga (Omnibus edition of The Pride of Chanur, Canur’s Venture andThe Kif Stike Back) by C.J Cherryh and it’s so and so, not as good as Cockoo’s Egg or The Foreigner Series in my opinion. But there are two more books down the line I haven’t read yet Chanur’s Homecoming and Chanur’s Legacy. I ordered those from Amazon UK, the alien point of view is interesting enough to keep me reading even if the action is a bit slow.
