The Truth is Out There
Dana Scully is a TV legend other female protagonists on television are measured against. She was the skeptic part of the leading duo in the X-Files, a Medical Doctor assigned as a special agent to the FBI to babysit Agent Fox Mulder, a true believer.
I believe The X-Files was my introduction to modern American Science Fiction Television. This was during the time you couldn’t download or stream TV so we turned up every week in front of the TV at the same time. It was the talk of the next day, what happened on X-Files? Secret alien invasions, human collaborators, gruesome experiments, mysterious creatures the X-Files had it all and more. It was something Out There, to talk about.

I Want to Believe
Dana Scully is not your ordinary action heroine that does back flips and round-kicks the villains but what she lacks in fighting skills she makes up for with a relentless scientific approach, intelligence and willpower. We get to follow her skeptic approach for nine fantastic years (there was a few speed bumps, not every episode was great); See her struggle with skepticism and how it clashes both with what happens and with her rekindled Catholic faith; See Mulder and Scully turn to friendship to partnership and love.
I must mention that Scully and Mulder also have appeared on Millenium and The Simsons

Baby me, and you’ll be peeing through a catheter
Dana Scully is a remarkable character that makes me want to watch the X-files again!
Homage to Dana Scully & Gillian Anderson – Man I Feel Like A Woman
