Returning and New TV shows this week. It’s quite a few of my favorites returning this week.

Chuck is back with season three
(Sunday 10th, Monday 11th)

Chuck our favorite Buy-More Spy knows Kung-Fu and much more since he downloaded Intersect 2.0. It’s said to be a bit glitchy though. Rumors for the new season says a minor character will be killed off. Awesome will be more involved. Sadly to say they also says that  Chuck and Sarah will have a major falling out.

A two hour premier on sunday, Chuck goes on to it’s regular time slot on Monday.

Archer – New Animated Spy Comedy
(Thursday 14th)

From SciWire:
Looks like Chuck will have some company in the spy biz. This animated half-hour comedy focuses on master spy Sterling Archer (voiced by H. Jon Benjamin) and the spy gang at the International Secret Intelligence Service (ISIS). Even though there’s enough espionage and global crises to keep the team busy, they still manage time for a bit of backbiting and betrayal among themselves. Also providing voices are Jessica Walter, Aisha Tyler, George Coe, Chris Parnell and Judy Greer. Brought to us from the creators of Sealab 2021 and Frisky Dingo, Adam Reed and Matt Thompson

Human Target
(Sunday 17th)

From TV.com:
Christopher Chance is the mysterious security-for-hire protecting his clients by becoming the Human target. Christopher Chance is assisted by his business partner Winston and hired gun Guerrero in each job. Chance learns the truth behind his dark past.

Does anyone know who Christopher Chance really is? What secrets lay buried in his past? What would make a man willingly become a Human Target?

Being Human season two
Sunday 10th

This Brilliant BBC production returns for a second season. Love it.

Mitchell (Turner) and George (Tovey) are two twenty-somethings who move into a house together only to find it already occupied by Annie (Crichlow). Finding a ghost in their home isn’t too bad though, since Mitchell is a vampire and George is a werewolf. The show charts the trio’s life as they try Being Human.

I have watched some more finales since last. See part 1

Warning. Spoilers ahead.

Flashpoint [****]
Today they have a hostage situation in an ER. The teams pull through and have a nice gathering after a good days work. No cliffhanger but rather a feel good thingy.

Gary Unmarried [*****]
I just love this show. though last episode was 17th, and there is 3 more to air before this season is over.

Ghost Whisperer [****]
We get a new mystery with the book even if it feels a bit like The Charmed. I guess the closure about it is the wedding ceremony. It is true to the feel and spirit of the show.

Gossip Girl [*****]
High School ends and there is a hunt for Gossip Girl. Blair and Chucks encounter was very true to the show. Was that Rufus and Lily son entering from the side?

Kyle XY [**]
As this is the Series Finale I expected more. It went out with a half assed attempt just like the series have been handled lately. In the final moments of the show Michael Cassidy (this seasons bad guy) reveal that he is Kyle’s brother. The End.

Southland [***]
Southlands has a good vibe, the closing episode felt more or less like any other episode. Not many hints on what’s going to happen next season.

Supernatural [*****]
It starts with the Dean brothers are at war with each other. Supernatural has a long tradition of season finale action feasts and this is no exception. Talk about cliffhangers. The season ends with Lucifer’s approach and the dawn of Armageddon. Kind of leveling the playfield for next season.

The Beast [****] Series finale
Finding out who was behind at the last moment of the series was a nice finish.

Still left to watch is:

  • Battlestar Galactica (series finale)
  • Dexter
  • Pushing Daisies (series finale)
  • My Own Worst Enemy (series finale)
  • Legend of the Seeker
  • Reaper (series finale)
  • Smallville
  • Terminator: SCC (series finale)
