Gravity premiered on April 23 on Starz. This is a comedy show about suicide? Call me sceptic, but as I watched the episode i started to like it and all the quirky characters, Robert’s spectacular suicide dive off a cliff in a speeding car that ended in a pool on a gay cruising ship, the spiring love interest between two very damaged but quirky people and not the least Lily’s wordy pants.

Lily, Robert and Miller find themselves in a support group for people who attempted suicide.

This episode introduces us to Robert and Lily, two star-crossed lovers from very different worlds who would probably never meet under normal circumstances, are thrust into a support group for survivors of suicide attempts which soon changes their lives forever.

Starz have greenlit a new TV series called Camelot. It is a contemporary retelling of the Arthurian legend by the team behind successes like Tudors, Life on Mars, Torchwood, The Departed and the upcoming The Tourist. It will air first half of 2011 and the order is for 10 episodes.

“Camelot” will be based on Thomas Malory’s 15th century book,” Le Morte d’Arthur” – still considered the definitive work on the subject. But that’s only a starting point; “Camelot” will weave authenticity into a modern telling of the Arthur legends that is relatable to contemporary audiences.

The series will be shot in Ireland, with post-production to be completed in Canada.

- Our goal for this project is to bring a fresh and contemporary take to one of the most classic medieval tales. In keeping with the GK-TV vision, we have assembled top level writers and producers to help tell the universal story of Camelot on a global scale says GK-TV president Craig Cegielski.

Casting is underway for the production, with the cast expected to feature fresh talent combined with established faces who will enhance the high quality of the new series. Production is slated to begin in June of this year.

This is not the first time Camelot have been up for a series, Showtime & BBC had a very similar project for 2008 also produced by Ecosse Films and Octagon Filmes.
