It is getting closer and closer to hiatus for most shows.

Chuck is the first off but it will return right after the holidays on January 3. Chuck faces the most awkward of family reunions when mom (guest star Linda Hamilton) comes over for dinner – along with the dangerous Alexei Volkoff. Back at the Buy More, Morgan  deals with the busiest shopping day of the year as Jeff and Lester hatch their latest scheme.

Then it is time for The Event, they will go on a longer hiatus until March 7. I am afraid this could be the last nail in the coffin. It sounds like more of the same traitors, suspicions, jada, jada chase…

One show I am looking forward to watch is Stargate Universe. Last week was one of the of the best SGU episodes so far and this week is the mid season finale. I feel a long cliffhanger coming. The destiny comes across an old space battle, their arrival triggers a revival. The Destiny on the brink of destruction from a random ship graveyard or is this the replicators again, this time replicating a battle again and again? Time will tell.

Fringe is back after one week Peter grapples with the aftermath of recent events as Olivia desperately searches for an ally. Meanwhile, the Fringe Team discovers a critical device that communicates between universes.

Meg’s Back on Supernatural! – She kidnaps Sam  and Dean  and tries to force them to tell her where Crowley  is hiding. Sam makes her a deal they will help her find Crowley if she promises to torture him for information about how to get Sam’s soul back. Castiel joins the fight but finds it difficult to work with Meg.

Helena Magnus faces more dark secrets from her past this week’s Sanctuary.

Lost Girl is back on Sunday with the next to last episode this season.

Last but not least. The Walking Dead season finale! TS-19. This zombie series really blew my mind this FAll, its awesome. Don’t worry though it will be back with a shiny new season next year (Probably not until October 2011 though).

Thar feels like a pretty good week. I wonder what happened to Outcasts, it was supposed to premiere this week on BBC America?

We are getting closer to the holiday breaks now, many shows will go on hiatus soon. I don’t know what Fox is doing but it looks like they are trying to crash Fringe into the ground with these every other week airings. No Fringe this week! On top of that they will be moving it to Fridays next year.

On the slightly brighter side. Help is on the way. Chuck was taken by the Belgian, an international arms dealer who have his eyes on the Intersect. This week takes Sara, Casey and Morgan into the jungles of southeast Asia while Elie and Awesome try to decipher a secret left behind by her father in Chuck vs Phase Three. I hope that awful psych from CIA doesn’t come back.

The Event seems to be more of the same, more traitors to track down and the endless run continues in”Your World to Take”. They really has to move on, this can’t be all this show wants to be?

Stargate Universe get a Visitation and I hope by god its not by angels! Great episode last week, I hope for more of that kind of action. Those people they left at the artificial solar system comes on a visit in a shiny new shuttle. The last is what they really need now since they lost the other two.

Human Target premiered last week adding Ilse and Ames to the cast. This week it’s the widow of a man Chase killed seven years ago that needs their help while the newbies try to learn the ropes and avoid being shocked by all the testosterone in the business. The ladies are making this a better show, great dynamics already in last week, this season looks promising.

Fringe on hiatus again!

Sanctuary on Friday is about a person from Magnus dark past who returns and ‘Breach’ the Sancturay defences. Looked a bit steampunky second worldwar-ish.

The Walking Dead continues on Sunday. Rick and the gang heads for the center for disease control in Atlanta after a zombie attack in next weeks episode ‘Wildfire’. I have not watched yesterday’s episode yet, but a review will be along on Tuesday.

Lost Girl is something I am looking forward to every week. Showcase is as usual slow on releasing information about the episode but I know it is episode 11 and there are only two more episodes after this on this season. It has been renewed for a second season.

This week looks good Futurama and Human Target are back! SGU will have an emotional episode this week, I think it will be good but I am not going to like it.

Chuck looks absolutely delightful this week with Summer Glau as a psychotic greta assailed by Jefster. Chuck is struggling with the Intersect afraid how this is going to affect his relationship with Sarah. Their relationship problems is getting a bit old in an otherwise interesting season.

President Martinez is getting inpatient on The Event with the inquiries and decide to interrogate Mike Buchanan. Vicki is back. She is sent out on a new clandestine mission. I guess they still trust her then. I like Vicki I hope they don’t blow her up. Sean and entourage continues to run away Bourne Identity style which is getting old. I really want to like this but I have to struggle hard to find someone to root for.

Stargate Universe this week is about Malice. Simeon the Lucian Thug escapes Destiny after knocking/killing Amanda/Ginn. That is so horrible. For once Eli was in a happy place with Ginn. Rush goes after Simeon with revenge in mind with Greer and Young wanting to catch Simeon alive.

No Ordinary Family continues to grow on me. Its not high class but it keeps getting better and better.

This weeks first big event is

Human Target Season 2 Premiere

Chase and the guys are back and this season the manly club is getting female reinforcement.

Picking up from the thrilling first season cliffhanger, Chance and Guererro stage a daring rescue of Winston from the hands of his torturous kidnappers. Two beautiful women join the team: billionaire philanthropist Ilsa Pucci, who fears for her life after the mysterious death of her husband; and Ames (guest star Montgomery), a chameleon-like master thief who inadvertently becomes involved with the plot to murder her new associate.

Is Leonard getting back together with Penny again in this week’s The Big Bang Theory. This is a safe card for an entertaining half an hour.

Olivia start to makes plans to return to our original Fringe universe with the help of that Taxi driver from the first episode. The veil will fall soon. The red Fringe Team go after a serial killer at this time.

Supernatual takes a turn onto fantasy land as they investigate a case involving crop circles. It is not aliens responsible but Fairies. The hunt is complicated by that Dean is the only one who can see them. It gets weirder as they land in a world of elves, gnomes and a leprechaun. I have a feeling this is more the traditional sinister elves out of folklore rather than the D&D ones.

Sanctuary will have a little werewolf action this Friday in Animus.

This weeks second big event is

The Futurama Holiday Spectacular

Al Gore And Coolio Make Special Voice Guest Appearances

Get ready to jingle all the way with Fry, Leela, Bender and the murderous Robot Santa! Featuring special voice guest appearances by Al Gore and Coolio, the world premiere of “The Futurama Holiday Spectacular” debuts Sunday, November 21 at 10:00 p.m. on Comedy Central.

In this festive three-part episode, the Planet Express crew races to preserve the traditional practices of the classic holidays of Xmas, Robanukah and Kwanzaa. Along the way, they encounter the murderous Kringlebot, Al Gore’s Head-In-A-Jar, mutated pine trees, droidls, fembot wrestling, albino humping worms, Kwanzaabot and giant space bees, all while learning the true meaning behind the holidays…with an occasional song thrown in for good measure.

Ugly Americans Nick Swardson’s Pretend Time The Benson Interruption

In The Walking Dead Rick’s mission to return to Atlanta may need to be aborted when he runs into some unforeseen problems. Meanwhile back at camp, Jim appears to be going off the deep end.

Lost Girl episode ten is on this Sunday.

Next week looks promising for us genre viewers.

Chuck is on hiatus this week.

My review of Sunday’s Lost Girl will be out on Tuesday.

The Event is back after last week’s hiatus. Episode seven is called “I know who you are” and is about the mole in the Presidents organization and Sofia has to take command of all her fractions in preparation for the next step whatever that is. The impressive and a bit unbelievable competent Sean and his two ladies will try to stay one step ahead of the ones hunting him. I am entertained by the Event and it is growing on me, I think I will make a review of this week’s episode, expect it on Wednesday.

Young and Rush have learned nothing about being alone together in this week’s Stargate Universe 2.07 – The Greater Good. The Destiny comes upon a heavy damaged ship and they both space walk over (Destiny doesn’t have any shuttles any more). Maybe we will learn more about what happen to Telford this episode. They find empty pods like the ones in the old Seed ship just before the engines suddenly fires. I am looking forward to this episode where it looks like Rush little secret will come out and play.

I think I will take a look at No Ordinary Family later in the week. It is kind of entertaining.

There is a blue episode this week on Fringe. Wonder if Olivia’s call from last week will start to crumble fauxolivia’s cover? This week fifteen people, from up and down the coast come down with amnesia after listening to the same frequency, 6995 kHz on the radio. Peter will apparently continue to pick up pieces to that doomsday device. The obvious plan is to get him to assemble it here because it is here it is supposed to go off. I rather hope that sometime down the line they will find a way to make the dimensions safe again while retaining the ability to travel between them.

The Big Bang Theory keeps getting better and better, their guest stars have been great too. It really is like Friends with geeks in many ways. I guess that would make Sheldon Joey Tribbiani?

Sanctuary’s new season is rather young but it is catching up well. The Big Guy picked up on some kind of assassin killing off friends to the Sanctuary network last episode and we have the whole lost city mystery to follow too. I like Amanda Tappings but that is not the only reason I like the series, the other characters are rather interesting too as well as some of the creatures. This week Katie gets to walk around in tights as she merges with an abnormal that grants superpowers. This kind of reminds me of a recent Warehouse 13 with a similar story, not very original Syfy.

Sam and Dean continue the hunt for the Alphas in this week’s episode of Supernatural where skinwalkers infiltrate ordinary families as their pets creating an army of sleepers. The only way to stop them is to kill the Alpha. Last week’s episode revealed a lot of what is going on. I knew something was off but I had no idea it was that off.

The Walking Dead was really good last week and it left us in a tank surrounded by zombies. I hope Rick gets out alive or this series will be cut short. It doesn’t look like he will be hooking up with his wife and son soon, at least not before he gets another group in trouble. It is a bit rowdy with good action. The only thing that is really lacking is a gorgeous heroine to match.

The week ends with Lost Girl, the content has not been released yet but expect some feisty action and another Review. Pity Showcase has closed down the Lost Girl website from other contries. That is weird; I think they should make more promo for this show. It really deserves to be sold to more countries.

That is my week.

I am watching last weeks episode of the Big Bang Theory while writing this. It is as usually hilarious. So funny!

This week offers one of this season’s most promising new series The Walking Dead. Lots of creepy crawling Zombies to frame a good action drama from what I have heard.

Chuck ended with him getting a call from his mother but there is nothing about it in the episode description. Can’t wait on that.

The Event is improving week to week. I am intrigued. So happy they have stopped with those annoying time jumps. That baby is interesting.

Stargate Universe was quite good last week, I even liked the damn stones. This week they explore an alien planet but it is Scott that gets infected and have his skin covered in alien growth. Chloe is still affected by the Blueberries but it looks like we will have to wait another week for some kind of resolution on that matter, maybe even the mid season finale.

Dean is forced to tell the truth on Supernatural on Friday and on Sunday we have both Lost Girl and The Walking Dead to look forward to.

The Walking Dead (AMC)

The Walking Dead is a six-episode series based on the comic book written by Robert Kirkman and published by Image Comics.

The Walking Dead tells the story of life following a zombie apocalypse. It follows a group of survivors, led by police officer Rick Grimes, traveling in search of a safe and secure home. Andrew Lincoln (Love ActuallyTeachersStrike Back) will portray the lead role of Rick Grimes while actor Jon Bernthal (The PacificThe Ghost Writer) will portray the character Shane, who worked with Rick in the police department before the zombie disaster. Other cast includes Laurie Holden (The Shield), who plays Andrea, one of two sisters who join the survivors of the zombie plague, Steven Yeun as Glenn, an expert scavenger and Sarah Wayne Callies (Prison Break), who plays Rick’s wife Lori.

Also looks promising and I know there are many fans out there waiting for this one.

Premiere: October 31 (AMC)
