Weekly Journal November 21-27 2011

Life has been a bit hectic lately so blogging has suffered a bit but don’t fear. I am about to pick up some of that now.

David Weber had me worried a bit with Mission of Honor but returned with a solid in A Rising Thunder if the ARC is anything to go by. As you understand this is the book of the week.

Zombie stories are about the ultimately alienation. Imagine all the people around you turning into mindless creatures out to eat you. But they can be great fun too like in The Walking Dead, one of the greatest genre shows on the air.I also finished Zone One this week. It has beautiful painting prose with all the usual zombie story attributes.
