Weekly Journal November 28-December 4 2011

Life has been a bit hectic this week. It is the time of year when all the dinners and meetings happens. This week I had three.

Luckily for me I found some light entertaining reading in Gini Koch‘s Katherine “Kitty” Kat series. It is a science fantasy where Kitty meets gorgeous aliens and eventually marry one of them. But it has a wacky panache and adventure while keeping it all about the female protagonist. The uncomplicated wish-fulfillment for female readers is not stopping me from liking what I read though the steamy sex helps. The first in the series is about an alien parasite that turns humans into monsters and Kitty kills one of them in the opening scene and stumble into the ‘alien conspiracy’.

Next week I think I have to dive into the Christmas thing and buy my gifts for the year. Are you all done with the gifts yet? I might make a gift recommendation post for you late shoppers.
