Weekly Journal October 31-November 6 2011

Gadgets are wonderful but they can also be a huge time-sink. I got my new Sony Reader PRS-T1 on Tuesday and sunk most of my time into testing it. A review will be along later.

The Iron Jackal is book of the week. Chris Wooding continues the tale of the Ketty Jay, Captain Frey and its motley crew. This time they take on a curse from an ancient civilization.

I am moderately excited about AMC’s latest premiere tonight. Hell on Wheels is a western kind of show.
