Weekly Journal October 17 – 23 2011

Back to my roots this week. Maybe mid-story roots. I have spent my evenings programming. Javascript and modern HTML is fun and I got to make life simpler and faster with a utility program that shaves hours off creating Modbus device drivers for our programmers and even allow non programmers to do the work.

So sadly I have been doing very little reading this week. I wonder when they are going to make an audio book version of B. V. Larson’s third Star Force novel, Rebellion. The series is entertaining military science fiction.

Looks like a lot of books will arrive next week according to Amazon. I should also be getting my pre-ordered Sony PRS-T1 Ebook Reader next week to but there is a disturbing warning on their site that it is not in stock. 168g is a weight I can live with. I will make a review of the reader as soon as it arrives.
